Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This policy is written for the current service: request an exposure report, choose managed removal or custom quote review, and approve paid work only after the path is clear.
1. Information we collect
Exposure report and quote requests may include your name, email address, location details, target URL, request type, desired outcome, urgency, context, and related details you choose to provide. Paid cases may require identity, ownership, authorization, or evidence information needed to perform the approved work.
2. How we use information
We use submitted information to review feasibility, prepare quotes, communicate with you, process payments, perform approved case work, record status updates, prevent abuse, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Payment data
Payments are handled by Stripe. Hide My Data does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
4. Service providers
We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, database storage, queueing, security monitoring, and payment processing. Providers are used to operate the service, not to sell your personal information.
5. Removal request disclosures
When needed for an approved case, we may submit relevant information to the website, platform, broker, search engine, or organization connected to the removal, correction, suppression, or deindexing request.
6. Retention
We retain quote and case records for as long as needed to operate the service, document work, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion where applicable.
7. Your choices
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
